Don’t you just love how The Hunger Games are becoming more parallel to reality. Especially “ our lives were never ours” considering all the injustice happening. “Tonight, turn your weapons to the capitol, turn your weapons, to snow” can be a parallel to election week. Trump will be out office after 4 years of horrific service.

I'm so torn between if this movie, The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2, or Avengers Endgame is the best movie of the decade. Truly both these films are masterpieces. By both Lionsgate and Marvel

I love both Divergent and Hunger Games. Why can't people just give it a break already. They are different. Saying one is better than the other because the other is a rip-off or other BS is like saying apple is better than orange because orange is a rip-off. It's ridiculous!

Okay honestly people who have read the books:

How shit is this movie compared to the books, like honestly it left out so much information and important things that it just didn't feel complete. I loved the books so so so much and this movie ruined all the images I had in my head whilst reading them.

It left out Edwards eye, when the initiates see their parents, no being executed in the water tank and then saved from her mum, the reason as to why she visited her brother was different, didn't build up the characters and give us as much insight to them, many many moments with Tobias (example his drunk rant, the moment she came back from visiting her brother, explaining that she should be more vulnerable so her friends stick with her... i can name plenty more) she was never 'out' of initiation in the book, their was no 'this is the divergent way of overcoming your fears', and then their was the ending with Jeanine, that didn't even happen in the book... I dont know but this movie lost me and made me want to re-read the books so I can remember why I loved it so much.

Is it how I imagined it? No. But these things never are. Guys, we HAVE to stop looking at these movies and expecting them to simply be a visual representation of the book. They have to be that and more. Screen writing is so vastly different from writing a book. I think they did an excellent job with this, and I hope the actual film turns out just as well-made as the trailer.

Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto's chemistry in this is waht didi it for me. I LOVED how Spock irritated Jim's in this. It was funny to see both sides of their opinion on matters. Plus Chris Pine is Key-yute! Couldn't take my eyes off of the screen!

I'm really glad that Star Trek is making a comeback, but I really hope they stay true to the franchise and don't just dumb everything down for the sake of attracting new fans. Arguably the best thing about Star Trek is it's messages and how it explores morality and philosophy. Whilst these films are good, they are not really in the true spirit of Star Trek.

Sidney McDavid 03.07.2021

The third film, Star Trek Beyond was not nearly as good as the first one and this sequel but all in all they are a great trilogy of Star Trek films. They switched Kirk sacrificing himself instead of Spock as in the 1982 wrath of Khan film but this film is still terrific I was glad they brought Kirk back at the end. The cast /characters of these three Star Trek films had very good chemistry. These three Star Trek films were so much more compelling to watch than the current trilogy of Star Wars films. It’s too bad they didn’t make similar box office receipts

I see a lot of people complaining about the ending, but that's how the first book ended too. And, it's an important plot point for the next book/movie. If you want to know what happened next, read The Darkest Minds, Never Fade, In the Afterlight, and The Darkest Legacy (set five years after the end of Afterlight). They're good books!

What’s crazy about being an orange is since you have mind control you can control all of the other kids and use their powers by controlling them for your own gain. By being an orange you can be all of the colors!!!!!
