Moscow, late 1980s. A scout for a French modeling agency finds a girl Anna at the Izmaylovsky market who meets all his criteria. He is not embarrassed by the fact that the potential model knows several languages, but trades in matryoshkas, and Anna flies to Paris and starts working. But her real job is not to pose for the cameras - the fragile girl works for the KGB and has to clean people by order of Moscow.
